Tradition and innovation in dance
On 21-22 November 2016 the "Institute of Intercultural Relations" in cooperation with the "Higher Professional Dance School" successfully organised the 1st round of masterclasses of classical ballet, modern dance and repertoire entitled "Tradition and Innovation in dance".
The masterclasses of classical ballet were presented by Inna Ginkevich - Dancer, Actress, Presenter. She was awarded the title of Higher Artist of the Russian Federation. Advisor to the Head of the Athletic Department of Moscow in choreography. Head choreographer of Monskomsporta. Principal of SBO "Athletic Schools" Youth Academy of National Team of the Russian Federation. Head choreographer of FSO BGU "Youth of Moscow" Moskomsporta.
The masterclasses of modern dance were presented by Denis Boroditsky - Substitute Professor of the Institute of Dramatic Arts, solist of Igor Moiseyev's famous show "Riverdance", solist of the Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company (USA), choreographer of the "Vortex Dance Company", choreographer and artistic principal of the Independent Dance Company BDDC, which over the years has created more than 30 productions, many of which were awarded prizes in international competitions and festivals.
The 1st round of masterclasses was attended by students and teachers of ballet schools from all parts of Greece , with the aim of spreading civilization, culture, the arts and traditions and also the successful interaction between people who influence art and other people who are just interested.
