At the Holy Monastery of Agia Lavra, the Russian representatives were accepted in great hospitality. At the Monastery’s camps, an official dinner was hosted to honor the Russian representatives, which was attended by the Prior (Head-Father) of the Monastery, the representatives of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, the President of Kalavrita’s Holocaust Union and the Mayor of the city, all of whom highlighted the importance of the visit by the Russian representatives, discussed the essential issues of the modern man’s mental virtues, underlined the role of the Church in educating the modern generation, its relation to the Holy religious objects and relics and its unifying role in between our people’s relations.
